Paliano extends over a vast territory of 7.012 hectares; it is located on a hill overlooking the valley of the Sacco River, and is surrounded by the Ernici, Lepini and Prenestini mountain ranges. It is at only 37 kilometres far from Frosinone, the administrative seat of the Province, and at about 50 kilometres from Rome.
The “Terrae Palliani” was established in 2011; it is an innovative form of hospitality that takes the name of “Albergo Diffuso”. The principle is that rooms, decorated in a consistently authentic and local style, are located in different buildings within the same town but overseen by a common reception. Houses, completely restructured, offer the possibility to spend time in the old village, rich in history and culture and to appreciate the territory and local people, sharing with them local habits and traditions.
The accommodations are placed at guests disposal by private people and assigned to the tourists in exclusive use. Like a holiday apartment, an albergo diffuso allows travelers to imbed themselves in village life, but the bonus is that it offers the basic services of a hotel (breakfast, linen change and taxes included).
It is also possible to take advantage of restaurants and local places that have an agreement with the Terrae Palliani, where you can taste local products.
