The Red Ape B & B is nestled in an oasis of peace where you can relax or plan your tour of discovery in history and beauty of the area.
The 1900 building has been recently renovated enhancing the typical stone walls, visible in every room, vaulted ceilings and flooring ancestors.
The 4 double rooms evoke the natural elements and are equipped with every comfort: private bathroom, hairdryer, TV, climate. One of the rooms is equipped for disabled.
Breakfast is a rich buffet for breakfast; therefore available cookies, biscuits, cakes, jams and organic honey, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee & cappuccino and freshly picked fruit in season!
Services Provided: daily housekeeping, linen change, Free Parking, Luggage Storage, bicycles, wifi, magazines and books, transfer service. Ability to accommodate pets (only on request and only in the garden).

BY AIR: The nearest airports are Bari Palese "Karol Wojtyla" or Brindisi "Papola - Casale". Take a bus or taxi to the train station and take the train.
BY TRAIN: Reach the center of Bari, from ‘Bari South-East’ rail take the train to Castellana Grotte, 8th stop. (WARNING: the railway Southeast operates from Monday to Saturday 5am-9pm. Verify on http://www.fseonline.it). Alternatively, you can reach the stations of Monopoli or Polignano a Mare and continue journey by car, bus or taxi, inquire beforehand.
BY CAR:
- From the North: Drive toward Bari, follow the coast road (SS16 - E55) and take exit Monopoli-Castellana. Once in Castellana Grotte, after the petrol station, turn left down towards Largo Porta Grande, continue...*
-From the South: take the direction to Taranto, follow the road Bari-Taranto (SS100), take exit Turi-Putignano (SS172); a comfortable scenic road leads directly to Castellana Grotte. Once in Castellana,at roundabout turn right and proceed to the city center, pass the level crossing and turn left in the direction of Monopoli, before the petrol station, turn right down towards Largo Porta Grande, continue...*
*...continue, then follow the tree-lined square "War Memorial Castellanesi", pass the roundabout in the direction of Selva di Fasano, then immediately turn left into Via Gravicella. At the end of the road turn right and after 300 meters you have arrived.
